One recommended tactic that has worked for many would be to write a polite email to Apple MY first to describe the problem - come up with a story on how you bought the phone while you were in the States on vacation or it was a gift from a relative that was visiting, bla bla bla. Apple MY will usually obliged by asking you to visit any authorised service centre, then you can go there with your email from them. They pride themselves in their CSAT numbers so it is important for them.

Had the same problem too with my CarPlay and was told my lightning cable was too long (genuine Apple one) and was told to get a good quality but shorter cable. I bought a cheapo Baseus 23cm one and lo and behold, it worked!

My head unit is an aftermarket one though.

When I first switched from my XS Max to ty the XR, I missed the 3D Touch too, even though I hardly used it when I had the 6S onwards, hahaha. But now I’ve gotten used to not having it so it’s no big deal for me.

Yes, but just marginally. Despite all the grief I give Samsung, I’ll have to say the best device I handled this year in terms of ergonomics and weight is the S10+ bro. For a flagship device with 4000mAh battery, Samsung got it spot on.

This is true. The OP7 Pro battery drains pretty quickly in usage - maybe the 90hz refresh rate plays a part. But the standby times (i.e idle battery drain) is the best I’ve seen in an Android device without overly aggressive power management features. I can leave it overnight with all my settings on and it’ll just drain 2% over a 7-8 hour period. Can’t do that with a Samsung.

The battery life is really amazing. I’m now charging the phone on alternate days - in fact, for light usage, can probably even stretch it to three days but I won’t do that - might cause some unnecessary anxiety hahaha...

You can easily get at least 2000 if you were to sell it outside but yeah, trading it in is less troublesome.
