for the first question, no. Because when you want to pair with your phone, you need to reset the watch. So there's no way to keep the ECG activated.

second question, can't answer you, unless got somebody here with US set tried for you.

1. as per what ppl say, use your US friend apple ID to activate ECG, then use his ECG to activate the ECG on your phone, then use back your own apple ID to login back to the same phone and activate it. this the hack that i heard.

2. better check the model... its because the bandwidth doestn support it... like my aw4 cannot because its from north america

You mean no more reminder notification pop out in the watch? If you go and open reminder app on the watch you still can see all your reminders?

Not only watch, on my iphone it doesnt pop out already since it is paired to my new apple watch s5.. My gf has the same issue..

Not really sure. I was planning ask someone in sg buy and activate the ecg via his phone (of course is his Apple ID). Then he will pass me the watch after back to Malaysia. Wondering will the ecg stay activated once I sign out his Apple ID and log in mine pair with my phone.

Bro from ur phone go to ur settings>Notifications and check whether ur reminders app turn on or off.. mine its turned off suddenly after paired with AW5.. so i turn it on and its working as usual..

er.. if you do like that, definitely wont work. To re-pair your apple watch, you either need to:
1) Unpair from his iPhone - this will reset the watch as well
2) Reset the Apple Watch - this will have activation lock once you try to pair with your phone

as long as the watch reset, then ECG needs to be reactivated when setting up, because it checks your Apple ID for the activation flag.

I see. So you must be in ecg enabled country activate yourself with your own Apple ID. No point to just ask friends activate on behalf of you.
