it's not about the phone, it's because the AW5 Msia version has no ECG enabled, isn't it?

eSIM card fee of $37.45 applies with subscription. WoW price. But I think Malaysia price will always higher than SG after exchange rate conversion.

QUOTE(jyu_bonk @ Oct 23 2019, 11:31 PM)
So if I buy AW5 in Malaysia this coming 1st Nov, take a bus to singapore, activate my AW5 in Singapore using my iPhone on roaming line, come back home, then will I able to activate the ECG on my MY AW5 set?
*
Yes. You can try it. Definitely you will waste your ticket price and time. hahahah Good as calories will burn for sure.

Dont do that la. MY device not supported ECG yet. You need the device from ECG supported country. I think they detect your device model is MY or SG. For example, iPhone model number xxxxxxMY/A. This is what I guess.

AW4 user here, from early morning around 6+ am to 11pm, I mostly end my day with 40-50% charge. I exercise heavily and use tracking everyday. Just for your reference, I believe AW5 won’t differ much.

IMHO, just put it to charge every night before sleep.

Okay so better to just get it from Singapore, activate the ECG there and come back.

Won't take too much time & $$ also laugh.gif

If I buy AW5 cellular but use with another eSIM without number share. When people call my phone, does the watch ring too? Using call off? Or whatever the tech is called where my iPad and MBP will ring.

Don’t think you can do that. I might be wrong but I think Apple Watch only supports cellular with number share, because you can’t simply add a standard eSIM to the Watch.

Don't know why everyone get so worked up with a function that doesn't matter. One lead ECG? Totally useless and gimmick.

Even 5 leads ECG you do at hospital also cannot detect irregular heatbeat if it didn't happen during that 30 seconds you lying down on hospital bed. You need to wear a 48 hours holter monitoring in order to do that.

AW4 claimed 18 hours usage... while AW5 also claim 18 hours usage therefore its "same". But AW4 in actual exceeds the 18 hours...

yes..apple said they have LTPO technology for AOD..therefore AW S5 can have same hour as S4..

for GPS version yes..if AW receive lesser notification from iPhone..can last very long..my 100% AW sometimes could last for 2 days..

i am using GPS version..the battery life indeed really not that bad..and the charging speed actually is fast..

i will charge AW everyday even it has more than 50% battery..
sometime i forgot to charge my watch...the next day morning i will charge it once i wake up then go and brush, bath, bangsai..just charge it 15min it could last you 1 day..
that is my case la...

the only thing could trouble you if you dont like to charger your device daily...

errrrrr biggrin.gif AW only can be charged by wireless charger..and as what i know and try..it must and only can be charged by using it own charger and some other brand wireless charger(very limited choices..one of it is baseus)..

u try to google "how to charge AW" and AW charger..

and i will strongly suggest you to get 1 because you can have more complete apple set rclxm9.gif and in fact it is the best among the other smartwatch..in term of ecosystem/battery life/user friendly/interface... thumbup.gif and and and also..if you use it to monitor your lifestyle..like walking steps..stand up time...calories..it really helps alot..at least i am motivated by it...
