Plan to get the Aluminium-44mm variant (RM 2 k on Machines i believe?).

Any thoughts on the battery? Is it really that bad that it requires charging everyday? How do you all overcome this issue for frequent travellers? Need some input, abit dilemma now (my current Fossil timepiece giving up now - such a bad investment!)

What sort of case you looking for? Aluminum type? X-Doria is nice. If those plastic black type the Rhinoshield is nice fitting and many color options.

Depends on person, for me,I charge everyday together with my phone and when I sleep , I wear the watch for the alarm and sleep monitor.

This is so routine that it has become so effortless.

However, I love the alarm tapping features rather than physical alarm clock that wakes up the entire world.

I do travel from time to time, it is still effortless to charge both

I went to maxis to register AW unfortunately they said I have to wait 3 month period. I have subscribe iphone 11 before this for my sub line last October. Is that really their tnc? I thought only applied for new user or device like smartphone only.

I chat with maxis and he also said should be no problem to register AW. The 3 month can be exempted. So which one is correct??

I charge the AW5 daily, just got back from a short Singapore trip. More or less same, I just let it charge after I arrived back to the room, shower and before sleep I pop back in (probably 30minutes to 1 hours charge time). The battery gets close to 100% and more than enough to last the next day.

Since AW4, I have been watching the ECG review over the internet. You don't really just show the result through app but you actually need to export the ECG results and get it finely print over an A4 paper. (Not screenshot obviously)

If turn off wifi on your Apple Watch, if you don't use it. Don't turn on both Data and Wifi, as it drains the battery faster. Just my thought only smile.gif

Imagine paying the full price for a piece of tech only to realise the "life saving" feature has been disabled. rolleyes.gif

After checking, countries like Korea, Japan, Mainland China and Australia don't seem to have this feature as well.

Apple need to get official approval from certain health related organisation in that country or health ministry before they can let us have ECG function on the watch. I have read somewhere about this but not sure if it's true.

if let's say you buy in SG, when you pair to your watch, you'll see the ECG app. When you open the ECG app for the first time, it'll prompt for activation. After that first activation, you'll be able to use it anywhere because the feature is activated and saved in your icloud health data already.

phone no need ecg-enabled country model .. as long as your Apple Watch model is from ECG-enabled country, when you set it up, you will see the ECG app. When you open the ECG app, you must be in ECG-enabled country in order to activate.
