If you have an iPad 10W or 12W charger, no real need to get an 18W or higher charger. Of course there is a (marginal imho) charging speed improvement but most people have a charger at home, in the office and in the car or at the very least, a decent power bank.

Technology penetration not so aggressive here. Look at the transition from 3G to 4G adoption (telco infra readiness, pricing, subscriber, coverage, etc). Took years.
I second that. By the time 5G is mature enough in Malaysia, Apple would already have a phone with the capability. 4G is plenty fast for Netflix and media consumption/social media. Many people still rocking iPhone 6, I still see people using iPhone 5S.
