Serious question about cinema: 18+ and refund

Cousins bought ticket from kiosk
Want to watch IT 2
Apparently IT 2 is classified as 18 up movie
The guy jaga stopped them wont allow masuk
So cousins said they dont know the movie is 18 up
So they ask refund or change movie
The in charge wont allow say burn ticket rm15/pax
So how? I want to go to the cinema now and ask for refund
Possible?
Since i think if adult talk to adult better
Edit: i think this is the case where kids dont know the importance of rating problem. They think suka suka only. Maybe they saw but they like dont care la... You know how kids are. Now cry cause duit pocket burned lel

If yes, ask the staff why sell 18+ movie ticket to them who is obviously below 18?

since they bought from kiosk. there’s already indicator that it’s 18+ and usually a reminder page will pop up and say this movie is for 18+ only. I think the cinema will not entertain any refund request.

consider it burn. kiosk doesn't pre-program NOT to accept payment from those under 18.. they should do IC/passport verification. that is the loop and things local cinema never think of.
