Setia no more?

This site was never Setia's in the first place and has always been Jakel's. Setia's mega project is at the other side of Jalan Loke Yew, around Ikan Emas area. Some people got the two projects mixed up.
Yeah, I was also under the same impression too as previously, the JV between Tradewinds and SP Setia involves redeveloping those flats at Taman Ikan Emas and their reward is 52.25 acres of leasehold land in Cheras (
Link 1,
Link 2). I wonder if that rewarded land referred to in these articles are actually the land the Taman Ikan Emas flats are sitting on?

With regards to the topic on hand, I remember reading the news in either the malaymail or The Star that this plot of land housed the DBKL workshop where KL MPs, including Lim Lip Eng, successfully thwarted redevelopment plans for it as the DBKL employees prefer this location compared to the new site in Kepong which is much smaller and further away.
Since Jakel already confirmed the redevelopment plans for it, the workshop is finally going to move to Kepong?
Looks like those MPs, including Lim Lip Eng, pull off this stunt just to show off all this while...
