As per the title, my Xiaomi phone is unable to carry out its tethering & hotspot function.

My friend's Samsung & my mother's Huawei is able to connect to my phone's hotspot but it states "No internet access" on their phones. Their phones are able to connect to another phone hotspot, so nothing wrong with their phones.

My phone however, can access internet w/o problems.

Question 1: How can I troubleshoot my phone?

Question 2: Has any other Xiaomi user faced this same problem & mind to share your experience?

try to reset network settings

have you tried restarting your phone?

maybe is device bug only..try self create a mobile hotspot on the hp.

happen to my ipad to..need to self create a hotspot mobile profiles then only can open hotspot.

Tried the methods above, nope, still the same.

Latest update: Finally, problem resolved. I tried the above methods, then I did the following step. I took out the SIM card and swapped SIM trays, then swapped back to original position.
