Is the above offer too good to be true or just a scam?
Your advice is appreciated guys before I got conned as the starting price for a brand new DSLR is ridiculous.

I saw the other day at auctions.yahoo.sg Canon EOS1D Mark II bidding price starts from RM450 and EOS5D from RM350 (both with Tamron 28-85 lens). Person posting the auction has got no previous history (newbie).

QUOTE(clemong_888 @ Jul 5 2007, 07:37 AM) starting bidding price only ma. some new items in yahoo japan starts from 1 yen but reaches near retail value at the end of the auction. check if seller has a minimum release bid or if he can choose to not sell if below a certain bid. no reserve price, but when the item was posted it was only for a short period i.e. 3 or max 5 days. I just add to my watchlist but until the bid closed there was no bids.but I checked again today, there was one being auctioned at eos 1D mark II at yahoo sg auctions the seller have rating of 10, a guy bought the same DSLR only for SGD386. Convert that to RM it would be a fraction of the price of the same model being sold here. Anyway, dare not bid......better save money and buy from reputable seller/shop or friend This post has been edited by rbizancb3: Jul 6 2007, 01:29 AM |
