its useless to friend with roadies. they are more obsessed with the bike instead of the sport itself.

thats why i prefer mtb. the people are not as snobbish as roadies.

put slick tyres on my mtb, i bet i can outrun those fat roadies. it gives you more satisfaction knowing a 5k bike can outrun a 30k bike.

anyone in mtb scene circa 2014 remember there was an open challenge in MTB Malaysia between Armando and Komrad regarding PCP loop.

This armando guy claimed he is the boss of trails. Claimed he can do PCP XC loop in an hour.

I proved him can do full PCP loop in 27 minutes. short only 10 minutes than record holder the national champ Shahrin Amir.

The thread was later deleted by MTB Malaysia fb page.

this is the recent jamboree in tanjung malim.

many people complain its actually hiking/4*4 trail. not supposedly designed for mtb.

i use Fizik Gobi for almost 10 years now.

saddle is about getting used to.

if you keep changing saddles, chances are you will never find out whats best for you.

Supercaliber is overkill for Malaysian terrain.

it was designed for the rocky mountains in US.

if you want a Trek, get last years Procaliber at a discount. it already have the adjustable softtail.

price for frame only probably around 10k only.

in my opinion not worth it to buy fullsus. even a softtail is ridiculous.

a high-end hardtail like the S-Works Epic can do the same thing nowadays. same character but lighter and maintenance free.

this is the same marketing ploy every year lah.

you can get the same full suspension characteristics from a hardtail by making the seatstay flexy. same formula every years, just small2 gimmick change.

world pro rider also only use fullsus on rocky and long distance race so they dont easily tired.

if the terrain is like in Malaysia, they still use hardtail. Our jamboree also 30-50km only. Not like in US their jamboree can go 200km like the infamous Leadville 100. Thats why fullsus is very popular there.
