I'm planning to buy Sony NWZ-A805/ A806.

Anyone have this vid mp3 walkman?

I read a review on cnet and there are pros and cons too. But do you recommend  this vid mp3? Thanks.

i'm using the A805 at the moment....it's a really good mp3 player...the screen is very sharp and detailed so if your eyes are used to watching small stuff, movies look good smile.gif

the sound is also good, no background hissing or static...can't compare with other mp3 players on the SQ since i didn't do a comparison smile.gif

now the BIG con that most ppl will mention...is that the 80x series needs to use sonicstage to transfer your songs...no drag and drop like the newer 61x and 81x series

hackwire, saw quite many use the sony mp3 player for jogs/aero (the one looks like thin-round tube)

guys, any opinion on sony nwz-a816 ?
wat the the samsung yp-k3? is this model obsolete edi?

thnx.

I believe the thin round tube model would be Sony's NW S-200 series, not sure if they're still selling it as I didn't see it on Sony Malaysia's website anymore....

As far as i know, the nwz-a816 model is identical to the nwa-806 and that the most obvious difference is that the 816 model is drag and drop whereas the 806 needs to use Sonicstage to transfer songs...there are other differences between the 2, but I can't seem to rmb all of em at the top of my head right now...

Just remembered, the 816 model has no gapless playback and can't create on the fly playlists...

Agree, a FM transmitter also is a good alternative

I've used one b4 and it's pretty good. Though you might have to find the frequency with the least interference from outside sources smile.gif
