On a more serious note, do give us a price range. Else it'd be hard to recommend something.
Please Recommend... an MP3 player, version 2

QUOTE(xShinji @ Jul 10 2010, 11:05 PM) Budget :Rm150 -> rm200 max For your budget, the Sansa Clip+. If you can top your budget above RM200, close to RM300 or so, you can grab the Gumstick with a good Hippo IEM bundled. -able to play FLAC(optional) -Capacity (if can 2gb and above) -has eq -prefer balanced sound |

Philips GoGear SA011.
I guess 10 hours is still better than the Clip+ with its utterly weak battery. *giggles* Two of my Clip+ gotten 6~7 hours at most. |

QUOTE(peterG @ Mar 2 2011, 03:22 AM) hey guys, im thinking to get a mp3 as a present for my friend. Depends on what your friend would love best. Usabilty? Design? Battery life? Sound quality? between SanDisk Sansa Clip+, Hippo Gumstick, and Cube C30, which the best? Oh and do consider the iPod shuffle 4th gen too, looks great as a gift as well. |

QUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Sep 22 2011, 12:11 AM) Guys, I have an iPod Photo 30gb. Now I'm thinking whether to spend my money to do the iMod or buy a new Sony A-Series player. Sound quality wise an iMod definitely triumphs. It's more of a question whether you can live with a brick of player + amp + <insert whatever you may chain on your rig here> lol.Which one would you think is better? How much would the iMod cost? |

QUOTE(more2teayap @ Dec 5 2011, 10:03 PM) That... maybe very in future, for now I think I'll use it as normal usage, rockbox not needed too. so 6th gen good to go? If that's the case grab the 6th Gen. I've tested the 5.5G and it does not work with the Fostex HP-P1. *looks at it by my desk doing nothing* lolIn the future = There's the possibility. So grab the 6th Gen. lol This post has been edited by Enigmatic: Dec 5 2011, 10:04 PM |

QUOTE(more2teayap @ Dec 5 2011, 10:18 PM) The owners didn't contact me back despite numerous attempts of me contacting them.QUOTE(more2teayap @ Dec 5 2011, 10:18 PM) If the hard disk breaks down, grab a toshiba 240GB 1.8" ZIP hard disk... Anyhow, no doubt the DAC section in the older iPods are superior, hence people came out with mods for it. However the CLAS and Fostex sounds much more superior (and quite abit more expensive) than the older iPods regardless of modification, so... Ya. |
