QUOTE(anen @ May 2 2011, 03:52 PM) Hello. I'm looking for an mp3 that can be used whenever I want to go jogging. Considering Sony W252 but saw many people say the sound quality sucks Any other recommendations? I just want a good mp3, other features as videos and pictures are all bonuses. Oh, affordable price too since I won't be using it much so just want something simple since you're using it for jogging, i assumed smaller is better. i suggest Sansa Clip+ since it small and got a clipper, not to forget, its worth every penny on it

Frequency response refers to the way a microphone responds to different frequencies. For example, a frequency response which favours high frequencies means that the resulting audio output will sound more trebly than the original sound. a frequency chart sample is like this: since every audio got its own frequency, i can say for example, a microphone which is said to have a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz can reproduce all frequencies within this range. so, from my view, 5-23,000Hz is consider better, but its depend on a person ear to differentiate it

dont take sounds frequency too seriously, unless if you're doing some studio monitoring job at a recording firm music is something to enjoy, and good earphone and player brings up the enjoyment

QUOTE(xtreme~~ @ May 16 2011, 12:48 PM) how about IEM like Brainwavz B2, can the clip+ handle it well? or c30 can do better? or there wont be much different between the two? thanks for replying i own a Clip+, and so far, not many IEM can be drive well by Clip, so it called for portable amp like Fiio E5. and since i heard C30 is quite similar with gumstick, i'm sure it can drive better than clip, and the different between the price is not far, and C30 is cheaper btw

QUOTE(Silenced @ May 29 2011, 12:28 PM) guys,i am thinking to upgrade my source, now i am using hippo vb and superlux 681,and pairing with my zune hd. so should i get a C30 mp3 player or an E11 amp? i'm not sure whether C30 is better than zune hd, and amp is a nice add-on but needed if only you need extra drive on headphone

QUOTE(GooD_DaY @ Jul 8 2011, 12:16 AM) Hey guys, looking for a mp3 for my sister as her gift, budget around RM200, from what I see, seems like everyone is recommending Cube C30 for this range, any other recommendations? Would like to try out Hippo Gumstick but the price is double right? sansa clip+ or cube c30, both are nice, but since sansa got a better UI (plus it smaller), i'd recommend it for your sister

QUOTE(EL Pistolero @ Oct 21 2011, 02:48 AM) Hi guys, can i knw whats the difference between sansa clip+ and clip zip?? Which one is better?? I wana buy one.. Much appreciates.. zip got a nice color screen (for viewing album covers), but basically, they're just about the same i'd say, get a zip only if you want a good looking screen

QUOTE(Lennox @ Oct 23 2011, 12:30 PM) Get E11 better as E11 can drive that "babe" very well If on tight budget, get the E6 instead tight budget, yes, E6 is enough for M50

from user review, Clip+ is better, but again, i guess they're just about the same, and just use E6, it should be enough and lemme say this, amp isnt a magical device which can improve the SQ by large margins, unless you're using something hard to drive, then yes

QUOTE(Ikmal91 @ Nov 28 2011, 05:33 PM) I need something that fits the palm or smaller. Capacity I need more than 16gb since my mp3 is my life. Beautiful interface and sound quality. The price don't matter. Any recommendations? the small Sansa Clip+, upgrade-able to 16GB by microSD, very nice interface, so do the warm sounding

QUOTE(Neo|ofGeo @ Dec 12 2011, 06:40 PM) i like the style of the mp3 really simple and kinda slim enough for me but the screen is abit turn off is there any rivalry in RM150-RM200 pricetag? might consider those into selection im not so much of audiophile yet just entre to this area so kinda confuse between sharp and warmth Sansa Clip+
