QUOTE(tunertoobe @ Feb 5 2011, 11:46 AM) Well, Jaben bundles them up with a few earphone choices FYI. The Cube F1 earphones that comes for free with the C30 are so good that I don't mind paying RM100 for them. The clarity & detail is quite breathtaking, but only if you like bright sound, definitely not for bassheads. The BBE on the C30 makes the music comes alive! Once the BBE eq kicks in the volume goes up by a few notches, you can feel the ambience and the music literally sparkle. Prolly when the reviewer said its 'softer' compared to the gumstick is the C30 in Normal mode w/o BBE. Unless one is deaf I would say the Cube C30 has ample volume to satisfy anyone. I'd still take the C30 over the gumstick even if its RM50 more cos now that I've heard what the BBE can do .......I want it! But at an increased cost. But the spec says up to 130mW of output...woah. But from the impressions though, it sounds softer. Shows you how output doesn't matter. Maybe it's maximum...maybe for some kind of reserve maybe. Sometimes I feel that ppl miss the forest for the trees. The forest is the music and the trees is the sound. Life is too short to be anal about the sound when you can be enjoying the music! Added on February 13, 2011, 1:30 pm QUOTE(beederbest @ Feb 8 2011, 09:04 AM) Good SQ If musicality is what you are after, I'd say the Cube C30 has the edge over the gumstick. Throw in the excellent Cube F1 IEM for free and its a no brainer!.long battery life, don like to charge frequently( more than 20 hours) size not bigger than Ipod nano reliable and long lasting I would like to keep it as long as I can without breaking down. budget: RM300 plus minus, dun mind if it's cheap as long as it meets the requirement. use to listen to music with IEM. Anyone can recommend me one? Added on February 8, 2011, 9:32 am may I know how is the SQ compared to gumstick? I previously tried sony I found it dull compared to Gumstick, musicality is what the gumstick offers i guess. Added on February 13, 2011, 1:33 pm QUOTE(GenericMav @ Feb 9 2011, 11:57 AM) this phillips? as far as i can tell, quite worth for a RM98 player, you get for what you pay yes it's excellent value for money @RM98.but still, it got a LONG way to compare with gumstick compare with the gumstick? try the Cube C30 then. QUOTE(jayxunned @ Feb 21 2011, 12:24 AM) Hi, just asking is Cowon D3 worth the money? I need quick suggestion now or ASAP. Does it worth to sell my D2 to get this? IMO, no. Yea sure, you get a huge variety of video/audio format support, full HD playback, a sexier look/interface, WIFI etc, Android (2.1 mind you) and potential Rockbox. But with performance issues here and there (read the reviews), the D3 is a NO for me not until they improve on the performance a bit more. Battery life is also not all that great, but that shouldn't be a deal breaker. Read the reviews then make your final decision.D3 Reviews: http://www.pocketables.net/2011/02/review-...ndroid-pmp.html http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-20030949-1.html http://www.electricpig.co.uk/2011/02/16/cowon-d3-review/ http://iaudiophile.net/forums/showthread.php?t=38588 This post has been edited by MrJinggles: Feb 21 2011, 06:33 PM |

I was eyeing the Apple Ipod Shuffle and Nano. Anything from other brands? (: Budget around rm100-rm500. Thanks (; |

QUOTE(Fenderr @ Feb 25 2011, 03:43 PM) Hi guys, i'm looking for a good MP3 player, mainly used while running. Sansa Clip+ by Sandisk. Some here (such as a forumer named arj ) are selling them.I was eyeing the Apple Ipod Shuffle and Nano. Anything from other brands? (: Budget around rm100-rm500. Thanks (; Good sounding little player. It's about the same size as the Shuffle, and it has a clip, and a microSD slot for extra storage. It also has a screen which makes navigating songs a whole lot easier than with the Shuffle, and makes it a good competitor to the Nano. Oh oh, forgot, a Sony B-series. They can be good fun with the Clear Bass on. Sure they're not exactly audiophile, but for casual listening, I found them to be quite engaging and entertaining. Also battery life in this thing is more than 2 days for a single charge IINM. But no memory slot though, so you're stuck with the capacity you bought.
