Even S4.1 is without centre speaker, it still can accept 5.1 sound and reproduce the centre channel through front left n right speaker, unlike other 4/4.1 speaker. If your space is not too large, u won't notice the different with the real 5.1 speaker, save u some space too. sound quality definitely much much more better than the r501.
