i m using my friend's Altec Lansing ACS45.1 now.. but going to return to him soon..

can u guys pls recommend me a speaker with the requirement below?

1) budget: around RM200
2) 2 biji + 1 biji is 2.1 right? 5.1 is 5 biji speaker right?
3) i dont always enjoy high bass songs.. i just need a good base when watching action movie..
4) i usually like crisp sound rather than bassy one..

this is what i can think for.. hope u guys can tell me the model + price.. i need to buy it urgently by this week d..

thanks a lot!

ACS45.1 has muddy bass compare to M3300, not to say very muddy, but muddier than M3300 IMO. M3300 is tighter but can't go as loud as you went with ACS45.1 tongue.gif Susah lah macam ni...

hmm... i think i will buy altec lansing kua.. bcoz of the outlook tongue.gif i feel the look of altec lansing is better hmm.gif

vs4121 is surely sucks at clarity....for movie and gaming yaaa...good because of the bass....but for music..sucks...u can't listen to it for a long time...sakit telinga....the bass very vibrate type.....but if u can tahan then go for it la..

m3300 not good at bass seriously....but the clarity...nice for that price range.

aiyo.. hmm.gif hmm.gif erm.. i plan to buy vs4121 because of the design.. if Edifier.. is there any speaker that the design is thin n stand one? like the VS4121?

Generally speaking, burn-in is the process for excising new audio equipment. Some high-end headphones require more than 400 hours burn-in to reach its "best state".Same goes to speaker. In reality, many people noticed the sound quality improvement after burn-in process. Your satelites is magneticaly shielded, so it is no problem for u to place it near monitor, but ur woofer are not , so it is better for u to place woofer on the floor , sound is much better too.
*
thx for the info.. the woofer is already on the floor.. smile.gif

regarding the burn in.. means i hv to heavily use the speaker so that it can reach its best performance is it? if i dont use it often.. then after a certain period.. will it still reach its best performance state?

Actually just by playing those songs for certain hours will do, normal listening, but some says that you had better play it at volume higher than normal. It's up to you, as long as you won't disturb ur neighbour. Others might say it's better to use those Pink, white or brown noises for the burning process, pink noise is more favoured as it's said to comprise of wide range of frequency and normal songs are said to be biased towards certain frequency(read it from somewhere here, I forgot who mentioned it ady)
*
need to play higher volume? max meh? sked will spoil me speaker tongue.gif

what is pink noise eh? hmm.gif mayb need to googling d..
