Currently Im thinking of getting a new set of sound system and soundcard, my budget for both items is RM500.

I believe that with onboard sound card the speaker will not be able to performs, so please ya recommend me a sound card as well.

Setting my eyes on Logitech Z4, is it OK?

If you're going to tell me Edifier's, please tell me why and the difference with Z4.

Million thanks.

(gaming and music purposes, like tight and good bass and treble is important too)

TQqqq

Hmmm my mobo's onboard now is..

1. Realtek ALC888 codec
2. High Definition Audio
3. 2/4/5.1-channel
4. Support for S/PDIF Out
5. Support for CD In

So does this suck? or ok?

TQ

Edifier C2, was using it with Asus P5QL-PRO onboard's.

Didn't really liked the bass, it was too weak.

Brand preference...dont matters..just suggest me the best buy..RM500 (includded soundcard and speaker).

my room is just a small room, which is those standard white color square tile ah, around 10x10 of them big.

Do you think a Z2300 is too great for my room size? Or what?

Edifier S330 VS Logitech Z-2300 = ?

Logitech wins in all aspect? treble and bass?

TQ

Added on September 1, 2009, 4:22 pmI found a shop selling Klipsh GMX 2.1 at RM399. Is this a good buy? Good speaker without any flaw?

What about Z2300 and AL MX5021?

TQ

QUOTE(nismo91 @ Sep 1 2009, 04:27 PM)
if you can found brand new GMX at 399 (not ex display) then look no further. just buy it. some disadvantage is unshielded remote unit, so put your phone near the volume control and u hear loud static EM noise.

the gmx is vanishing in msia, get it before it totally disappear in the market. (u can check many threads recently shows many ppl look for new gmx but no luck)

Compared with Z2300 and MX5021 and Edifier S330?

Where can I visit to test all these speakers?

I tested C3 and S330 and seriously I was very kinda disappointed as everybody was bragging how good they were, but i think that its just that my ears are too picky. They indeed sounded clearer but bass was really soft.

Awaiting my Titanium Fatality PRO, wondering how the the sound quality becomes with it.

for me speakers clarity is not a big problem, because with the creative advanced EQ and functions, i can make the sound REAL clarity. But bass is something that you cant "strengthen" even with softwares.

U may be able to adjust the bass effects or settings, but you can't adjust the bass power. Clarity I find it fine, a little bit or tuning with the advanced EQ, things are just great.

TQ
