i am not expert about music thingy like y'all ..but i admit that i love bass and crisp sound..

so it's kinda hard for me to decide which one is good..Im thinking to get a new speaker from Altec Lansing FX4021/VS4221 <---*my highest priority*

Yea, It's always better to test at home coz you can listen it slowly, furthermore, you get to pair it with soundcard as well You'll notice quite huge diference before and after pairing with SC.

Between Edifier S550 and Logitech Z5500D anyone? Im so confuse which to choose, coz I know most gamers prefer logitech z5500 but then I read a lot of bad reviews here, look like lowyat member prefer edifier... mine to tell edifier made from where? I want realistic bass like crashing car sound like real crash car inside your house... so which suit me?

Depend ur taste, i personally feel S330's satelites is better than Klipsch , but Klipsch's woofer is powerful than S330

Hi there.

I'm looking for a set of 2.1 speakers to use with my laptop+monitor setup, and possibly with a PS3. I use it mainly for listening to music (about 90% of the time), and some occassional gaming... The genres of music I listen to kinda vary... like classical/orchestral, rock, vocal, instrumental...  but in general most of them cover from very high to very low notes, and ranges from having lots of instruments (you can kinda assume it's something like classical/orchestral music) to just a piano.

I'm not a bass person, just sufficient bass to give the music some depth would be good enough... but more importantly I want the music to sound as clear and original as possible (not sure if that means speakers with good clarity, richness and depth/detail, but this could work too?).

My room isn't very big either (about 3-4m x 2-2.5m) so it doesn't have to be too strong. Thinking of going for Edifier or Logitech. My budget is around rm250-300.

Any recommendations? So far I've only checked out the Edifier M3200 and Logitech Z4, and I found the bass on the Logitech Z4 abit too strong even tho it was only set to half volume.
(Test conditions: Emo Rock music; Speakers and woofer placed next to each other on a shelf).

It was about 10-15 degrees in the store where I tested it too, just in case anyone needed that info.
