although S330 priced at RM400, thats does not means it's performance can be judge by the price or it cannot surpass other speaker that priced higher than it u know wat i means ?

5.1 is 2 front channel satelites , 2 rear channel satelites , one center speaker, one subwoofer. Total is 6 biji.

RM200 quite tight budget , wat about RM230 for a Edifier M3300 ?
Or u can try Sonic Gear Armageddon, at this price range it is quite ok.

Generally speaking, burn-in is the process for excising new audio equipment. Some high-end headphones require more than 400 hours burn-in to reach its "best state".Same goes to speaker. In reality, many people noticed the sound quality improvement after burn-in process. Your satelites is magneticaly shielded, so it is no problem for u to place it near monitor, but ur woofer are not , so it is better for u to place woofer on the floor , sound is much better too.

Usually after a period of burn in , we will notice that the treble is smoother and the sound is wider, bass was also much more punchy .Of course , all of this can be varied depend on user configuration , such as EQ, speaker placement, source etc.

The R501mk2 woofer is downfiring. The M3500 is Sidefiring. Correct me if i am wrong Regarding the placement problem, those speaker from Edifier are magnetically shielded, so u dun have to worry about the problem.

Try test the Edifier HCS2330 to see it suit u or not got wireless remote control .

u can try Edifier R501mk2 at around RM400, or Edifier M3500 oso .

quite good in the price range it is improved version of C2 . If u have budget around RM300, this is a good choice . It comes with wireless remote and dedicated amp design.

Never try T20 b4, so unable give coment T20 is a 2.0 speaker , so it is for sure it will lose to 2.1 in certain field due to the lack of subwoofer to produce lower frequency.

Both has their own pros and cons , suggest u go test them first b4 u buy to find out which one suit u the most.

For 2.1, take Edifier S330 @ RM400+/-

For 5.1, take Edifier R501MK2 @ rm400+/-

i strongly believe Mako cannot deliver sweet sound that found on S730D

Most of them do not place their woofer correctly , so sometime ppl cant experience the true potential of their speaker Edifier speaker oredi perform very well even with flat EQ. Unlike altec lansing , if no adjust EQ, the sound is not that nice

Edifier , price will below RM250 , above RM230 , depend shop

Seriously , the woofer of z5500 i can take it and walk for few street, but the woofer of S730 , i cant even take it for more than 10 minutes

The quality of material use is far better than Z5500

This statement seems not bad

z5500 size compare to my 14inch laptop
