If few years ago ,VS4121 can be say as good at that price.But Blue LED VS4121 oso wont produce good sound,as coolkwc said,it is suck on its natural we say it suck is becoz nowadays many speaker are better than it.Example of these speaker oredi mentioned thousands time in previous post.

There are not many choice for 7.1 speaker to choose.Bro,try ur luck here,this is one of those seller who can let u have this speaker at cheap price.

Added on December 21, 2008, 12:30 amHow about MX5021 ? this will be the 'best' altec lansing to choose.I think FX4021's treble a bit 'DRY',means little bit fake anyway,jus my opinion MX5021 will more recomended for u .It is in ur budget.

Added on December 21, 2008, 12:38 amIf u wan Edifier at around RM500 budget,there is a 5.1 model called R501mkII at jus RM399,sound is quite good,many ppl choose this model when finding for low cost 5.1 speaker,it doesnot disapointed too.

Good 2.1 speaker u can get at this price included

Edifier S330
Klipsch promedia GMA 2.1
Altec lansing FX4021

Of course there are still many model u can choose,for ur usage in PS3,i think the Klipsch will more suitable for u,becoz it is cheaper than FX4021 and perform very good bass. Edifier are more suitable for music.

u can find them inside all major shop in Low Yat.One thing i gonna ask u,do u like the sound of ur previous Altec Lansing 45.1 ? if ya,then u may dun like the Edifier S330,becoz it wont give u the feeling as ur previous speaker.It is more on clarity and tight bass.Very suitable for classic music and song from singer such as Celine Dion.Clarity is the main point here(**no trance & techno).If u wan the 5.1,R501mkII will be the choice with cheap price at RM399 and decent performance.MX5021 is above RM500 but less than RM600,quite good for games and movie.Music lack a bit depend on wat kind of music u listen.If u often listen to western POP song such as those from britney spears as example,Mx5021 will be best choice.

All can be found in Low yat plaza,test them to see which one u like most b4 buy

i think u take MX5021 la,it will more give u more 'ohmmmm'' than R501

But altec's other model is not that worth to buy,later if u bought a speaker that are not able to perform as u expected,ur fren maybe will laugh u i think better let ur fren say u follow him rather than he laugh at ur speaker is it ? Anyway,i really cannot tell still have wat model can select in altec's family Are u like big bass? Try to test the Logitech Z2300 to see whether it suit u or not

ALtec lansing VS2421 (pls dun choose this if u wan for music)
Edifier M2300 (light gaming + decent music performance )
Edifier E3100 (best for music )

if u take Z2300 then ur fren wont say u follow him oredi anyway,try them b4 u buy

S530D cost around RM700 +/- in low yat plaza,wat i can say is if u demand high power,S530D is the choice,else S330 will serve u very well.S530D will give u more feeling in watching movie,booming song thanks to its high power,u might want to check out the 'volume boost'' function on it, quite impressive

Well,in my opinion,only go for S530D if u really have the budget for it,it is worth overall,else S330 not bad also

There are many review of S530D in internet,but sadly most of them is from chinese website from taiwan and China.The reason this speaker not yet review by those major Website is becoz Edifier was jus starting to move into western market.Time is needed.

Those who put woofer on table ,suggest u put it on the floor,u will notice huge different

haha,many ppl doing this,u jus need to go workstation thread browse few pages u will found it,but if the subwoofer is let say less than 10 watt RMS,such as sonic gear Tatoo 303 as example ,is nvm la,coz if the subwoofer like this put too far away from satelites will become no balance liao Subwoofer with more than 10 watt is not recomended put on table.

Not same the satelites of S530D has bigger power and 3.5inch midrange driver with 1 inch silk tweeter . 35watt RMS
Satelites of S330 has 2 inch midrange driver with 1 inch silk tweeter. 18watt RMS

Try the Edifier S330,strongly recomend for u ,try not to choose C3 if u have the budget that on par with S330's price.

i think Klipsch will more suitable for u .S330 not so suitable for gaming.
