M3300 is gud in bass and treble at the same time... vs4121 quite bassy (not solid though)... From the list given, I would definitely pick M3300... Unless you looking for design, then E3300... or looking for just-bass only, then vs4121...

Either Edifier's s530d, s2.1M or Aego M... These speakers are balanced in treble, mid range, and bass. =D

my fren own it(currently change to edifier s530d).the 2421 sound is pretty enuff for typical user.but if it lack of clarity and have altec's style heavy bass tat will make u feel uncomfortable after listen for long time,its satelites design which is no tweeter make the sound quite messy.

Going to buy AL MX5021 for rm350... is it really worth the value?
and how does the sound performs? i got no place at here to test the speaker liao...

of ocurse it is better my fren,it cost around RM700. but tat is different class when compare to 2421 smile.gif if u wan the best around rm200,the edifier M3300 is the only choice i found,but price is RM230,since speaker is not like other part of pc hardware,it wont hurt if u spend more to get the good sound( for long term use)

Yup S530d got optical and coaxial input.. 8" sub with balance mid and bass rclxms.gif

Dunno if need to open new topic for this, but I'll try in this thread first.

I've moved to a new place & am looking to get a new PC speakers after my last set died. I'm looking at some 2.1 as well as 5.1 systems, but 5.1 is really backstep as I hate the whole "wires running around everywhere" thing.

The shortlist i'm looking at is:

Edifier S530D
Altec Lansing MX5021

I'm also looking at the following 5.1 systems:

Altec Lansing GT 5051R
Logitech Z-5450

So I have following questions:

1. S530D versus MX5021, who win?
2. Is GT 5051R better than the winner of (1)?
3. Is the Z-5450 for sale anywhere in KL?

Bonus Q4 - does anyone have any opinions on the BOSE Companion 5 speaker system? Bose has a good rep, but the speakers are VERY expensive & don't come with alternative inputs like optical/co-ax etc?

Main usage is gaming and movies/videos. All answers & suggestions appreciated.

Klipsch A-GMX 2.1?

Any good or bad comments about it compare to other best 2.1 speakers out there?

Yesterday I went and compared both the C3 and S2.1M.

Both have nice sound but at the end i chose S2.1M because of the treble is clearer and the bass is smoother also. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

mx5021 around rm5xx,max is 580,it sounds best around all altec current 2.1,i will pick one for my home's rig if got money laugh.gif
