QUOTE(MasterConfucion @ Aug 29 2019, 08:32 PM) Depends on her interest but most of the time they give upFirst need a finger training which can build up a die skin on a finger tip without the thick skin build up on a finger tip Everytime play a guitar her finger tip will pain And need a proper tutor or guide from YouTube unless your self also play guitar which you can guide your daughter Lastly I guess is more advanced music theory needed once skills build up better on the above |

QUOTE(zuozi @ Aug 29 2019, 09:01 PM) Depends on her interest but most of the time they give up Everytime I ask her what she want to play she will say drum. But drum is so easy and doesn't improve any musical skill cos no theory and stuff. SO I tell her she should learn guitar instead. So nOw I consider should send her ukulele or guitar..First need a finger training which can build up a die skin on a finger tip without the thick skin build up on a finger tip Everytime play a guitar her finger tip will pain And need a proper tutor or guide from YouTube unless your self also play guitar which you can guide your daughter Lastly I guess is more advanced music theory needed once skills build up better on the above |

Actually drum not what you think so easy haha XD , if she like drum maybe you can told her if she interest on electric guitar ,drum you can told her later neighbor will complain if electric drum lack of the feel when you hit the note You can try show this video to her she might interest on electric guitar and their string more soft to press https://youtu.be/2xjJXT0C0X4 My advice just find some songs cartoon with accoustic guitar , bass guitar to whatever from YouTube that she familiar then slowly introduce aka consider brain wash lol Or buy a gadget which can program the drum sounds but just press by finger etc This post has been edited by zuozi: Aug 30 2019, 11:02 AM |

Depend her age due to size of the hand.
Ukulele smaller size and with 4 strings are more children friendly. Also cheaper. You can get quite good beginner ukulele between RM200-400. |

Drum is can be easy, but more advanced stuff requires years of practice to balance tempo and rhythm. Music theory is best taught on piano style instrument in my opinion. |
