of course you can learn it online.

but if you really going for the cert .... then you need to find an institution that can give your cert at a price that you find reasonable.

For me it depends. Some companies would send their employees and claim from HRDF.

You need the interest and discipline to learn something... it can be found online but having a proper set of syllabus and guidance is good and will speed things up.

nope, i wont spend a single cent on it
with the wealth of information out there and speed of internet these days it is just silly.

i would rather spend that amount on courses related to "how to identify a problem" and "how to search for answers" instead as the gain are far superior and would never expire. assuming there are courses for stuffs like that laugh.gif

But you can't expect people like us. They need mentoring.

the next academy eh? i did asked them about part time course why is it different format in teaching its because due to back then only 20% out of 80% students enter the class so the instructor decided to change online based live Q&A online and every weekend(saturday only) for physical class and Q&A on the spot.

i'm seen some course offering like these. they simply dont equip the participant with the necessary skill set and know how on how to continue to keep up to date after the class ends
they just set you up for that one specific version and as you know technology moves at a blazing pace which leaves the participant back where they started in a couple of years or shorter sweat.gif

thats why i feel investing a course on how to teach ppl to identify problem and how to seek solution would be far more superior as it a skill set that wont go obsolete anytime soon

No I would not. Even if I can turn back time I still wouldn't.
Back when I started, I read phisycal books and it was sufficient.

Database, maybe a different story...

Google - Mix of structured and unstructured content, you need to know where to start.
Online courses - Cheap, structured
Classes - Expensive, structured

Any method you go, you still need to start coding and not just listen and read.
