Recently the eCP39 online submission system has been introduced.

Has anyone used it yet?

Please share your experiences with this new system.


My experience :

The UI is decently designed and easy enough to use, though it could use much less clicks to reach the end. At the end we are presented with a downloadable CP39 Form and a e-CP39 Data Verification form (this one containing a CIMB Acct No that you can pay to, which is apparently different at every submission of PCB).

I am just about to make the PCB payment via online bank transfer. Will update this post further.

As at 1st Sept 2019, Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri / Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN / IRBM) recently announced that they will no longer accept manually submitted Form CP39 (statement of monthly tax deduction), compact disk (CD/ DVD), flash drive and diskette as well as cash and cheque payments of the MTD from employers.

the previous way cannot use already? i login via hasil, then go to e-pcb

I didn't know about this, but thanks for the heads up.

e-PCB site also 19 years old and only works on IE. Was wondering when they're gonna refresh this. But having to start from scratch (data entry part) is gonna SUUCCCKKKK......

PS. Tried to register e-CP39, but because the stupid online registration form DID NOT ASK FOR PASSWORD TO BEGIN WITH, when I got the email asking to verify the username all, got error 403 - Unauthorised. Was on the phone with LHDN for what seemed like AT LEAST 15 minutes before I finally got to talk to a HUMAN to explain the situation and also complain about their SHITTY UI.

TL;DR - stick to e-PCB until they iron this shit out.

This method is still possible and is encouraged by the government in attempts to increase efficiency and reduce manpower cost.

Only manual submission of CP39 forms, CD, USB, Diskette, and manual payment will be obsolete by 1st September 2019.

i have been use e-data pcb since from last year sep and they have free training by LHDN. Now i no need to drive to LHDN every month and queue for the payment!

The e-CP39 is actually another platform to submit your CP39 / PCB Form. The UI is more modern.

so far so good, no problem for submit and payment.
just try to submit and pay before 8 of the month, worry something delay or mistake still able amend.

Yes that's true. I always submit early and check with the LHDN via phone on the next 3 days.

It is my first time with e-CP39, and the payment is still unverified atm. They say need at least 6 working days to verify and that I check back after that.

website says that bank payment receipt is the official receipt which is abit dumb

You need to key in the No. Majikan E, CP39 Account No (which is the CIMB bank account you were prompted to pay PCB to) and the amount paid.

I kept checking for 4 working days continuously after I made paid PCB to the CP39 Account No, and finally today, they showed payment verified, with a link to download the receipt.


Did you get the email? I registered an account and received the verification email in the next day. After clicking the verification email, I was prompted to choose a password.

I submitted August 2019 PCB as an unregistered. I checked daily here : https://ecp39.hasil.gov.my/single/payments/unregister

After 4 days, they finally showed payment verified, with a link to download the receipt.

Yes, but got Error 500 when I try to verify or even login. Guess I'll stick to e-PCB in the meantime. That site is messed up.

And yes, I've already cleared my cache, cookies, etc.

im do payment also by fpx, once i saw my bank have debit that mean is done for everything.

so confirmation this ecp39 is the same as e-pcb? why so confusing? why so many system?

The e-CP39 is a separate system from e-PCB.

The e-CP39 is newer and does not require registration to submit Form CP39, while the e-PCB require a login ID.

If using CIMB biz channel, do you still need to do CP39?

How do you usually do your CP39 form submissions? The CP39 form is basically a declaration form of PCB paid for the month.

Ok gone through the process for ecp39 last week, paid by fpx and got resit.

That's my job done
