I just received my RX 5700 XT and Asus XG32VQR today.

The HDR option in OSD menu is grayed out,

I did tried to change cable, from DP to HDMI,

tried to turn on the HDR feature in Windows settings,

but the HDR option in OSD menu is still grayed out.

can anyone can help guide to turn on the HDR? icon_question.gif

using display cable, did you disable and turn ELMB and PIP/PBP function as instructed in the manual?

my manual only 4 pages, only guide to install the monitor, zero guide teaching how use the osd or sort of... sweat.gif

i baru go the official page check the manual

my monitor osd menu dun have pip/pbp

dun have elmb as well, in the manual it say elmb only for XG35VQ

You can adjust OD, Aspect Control, ASCR, ELMB (Only for
XG35VQ), Adaptive-Sync/FreeSync, HDR (Only for XG32VQR),
Shadow Boost (Only for XG32VQR) from this main function.

HDR: High Dynamic Range. Contains three HDR modes (ASUS
Cinema HDR, ASUS Gaming HDR and FreeSync2 HDR).
HDR item will be locked when connected to AMD FreeSync2 HDR
video
.

I don't really understand, I'm not playing any video or sort of even after restart PC.

In the OSD menu it say my HDR is Off and the HDR option is grayed out... why so weird 1...

Finally I figure it out, I need to turn off the "Adaptive Sync/Freesync" in the OSD Menu, then only the HDR option will available.

LOL
