was thinking of buying nintendo switch in the near future..any nintendo switch owner here?is it any good?graphic how?or maybe should i wait for the nintendo switch mini instead?

Do research on the differences between Switch and Switch Lite. One can be docked.

Anyways, been owning it since launch and I must say, asides from slow games release at first, their catalogue now is bursting! And I don't even play indie games despite the rave reviews.

Super a lot of games that can eat up most of your time - Octopath, BOTW, FE Three Houses, DQB series - just to name a few.

If you don't mind the 'lousy' battery life of the Switch, then go for it, otherwise suggest you to get the enhanced version that was just launched recently.

perfect console for on the go
i play it exclusively during travel, on plane, train and boat
got quick play game (marios) or lengthy rpg (zelda, DQB) can pickup and continue anytime
while at home can play pc and ps4...no need to dock the switch
battery life is ok...5-6 hours more than enough...but i also got zmi powerbank with power delivery...can play while charging

if u are coming from PS4/PC AAA gaming, I advise against it...the choice of games and graphics quality on Switch may not suit your elevated taste

but if u like the Switch exclusives, then please go ahead

This is a good advice.
I feel its rather silly to just buy a console for one game. Sure, you probably use that excuse to justify buying it, but be realistic about it. Its an entertainment system, it will bring you some good enjoyment and perhaps some great company. And theres definitely a lot of good games out there, so dont limit yourself to just one specific game. That is only something a die hard fan of that game would say. You're probably just a casual gamer like the rest of us.

Really a fun console, there's an updated version with better battery life. But I only play it few hours a day, then dock it. Also have a powerbank, so I don't need that extra juice.

Those exclusive titles like Super Smash Bros, Zelda BOTW, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Super Mario Odyssey, I say it's worth it. If you're going for titles which are released in other consoles, please look elsewhere as the Switch isn't as powerful and games are relatively more expensive.

Currently only play Splatoon on the platform, and Little Nightmares.
Not enough games on this platform, the same failure as their last console.

Worth it if you play Pokemon, BoTW and Mario Kart.

Plus point, new sequel to BoTW kambing, so you really should buy.

Downside is lots of pipul bored after completing a lot of things, end up resell or keep in drawer.

I'd buy it if Fugue on the Battlefield ever gets released.

That's right though whether I'm a casual gamer or not is really subjective. I feel buying a console for one game is just as silly as buying a game at launch or preorder because its really hard to justify the purchase. I'm not a diehard fan of any company so I'm always skeptical of all company when they keep coming out with the "next big thing".

That being said, I feel that Switch is indeed worth it but that's just me. In the end, its up to TS.

I'll buy it to play my pokemon games in a big TV.

i already own a ps4 and dont even play much since i'm always on the move or out working. was thinking nintendo switch is better suited for me since its portable.

i dunno la it just doesn't feel the same..most of mobile games have this waiting time or something similar..and playing on mobile for long period of time slowly kills your battery.

I heard they releasing an upgraded version. you shd wait for that. In term of games, i recently bought fire emblem 3 houses and thanks tat game i'm getting an average of 4hr slp per day

the real question people should be asking is why the eff is the switch "enhance edition" more expensive than the original switch when it is supposed to be sold at the same price as intended by Nintendo?? It baffles me that nobody is making a fuss about this

if u owes on the go kinda guy, outstation etc. switch really worth the money. I completed 2 games on switch (bayo 2 and xeno c 2), but i kinda like never complete any game at ps4. ok la completed GoW only lately. And nintendo is known for their gameplay, diff from others. So i think it is worth cos i owes travel offshore, i cant bring ps4 with me but i can owes bring switch with me.

My PS4 is literally sitting there collecting dust while my Switch is enjoying much love. Game such as Zelda Link Awakeing/BOTW, Luigi Mansian, Mario Kart, DQXI S, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 are super fun to play and enjoy which encompass so many genre. Break out from the dull and boring FPS in other consoles.

Agreed, Switch is perfect for people on the move. Hence see a lot of usage from me.
Even now my gaming laptop is see a drop in usage and a lot of game such as Borderland 3, Gear5, Metro Exodus, Control and lot more keeps piling up while I hacking away Link Awakening and DQXI S. 2 more great titles Luigi Mansion and Witcher3 (finished Steam version with all DLC) is launching soon. So, I think I will be with Switch for coming few months.

Bought my switch in 2018. After zelda mostly other boring game not my interest. Then went almost 1 year in drawer. Until hacker found a way to load cfw with unpatched console almost as easy as pie. Bought the rcm loader for rm30 and my switch like almost revived to its full potential. It has found its new whole possibility of homebrew games, snes emulator, psp emulator, and ahemmm etc.
