That's an example of how I crossed my photocopied MyKad, driving license and whatever important documents every time.

Most of them told me that it cannot be accepted but I didn't give a fcuk. Some even asked me to resubmit a fresh copy and they will cross it on my behalf. No way that's gonna happen cuz God knows what they will do with the uncrossed copy.

So I just told them to try and hand it in...and before I knew it, the application (whatever it might be) was successful.

This is another proven method. I did the same for all my online applications and none came back with rejected documents.

Sorry, I am not sure what small photo or big photo you are referring to. As long as the words on your photocopied IC/documents are legible after crossing, then it should be fine.
