That's underinflation, and very dangerous at prolonged high speed/distance traveling as tyre surely gets hot faster .... leading to tyre burst whilst in motion.
That's a common myth spreading around.
Tyre manufacturer recommends tyre replacement only when tyre tread is 1.6 mm or 10 years post production in normal use.
My XM2 pair was replaced at about 115,000 km usage when tread depth was 2 mm , the tyre age was around 7 years.
Currently another pair of XM2 is at about 60000 km usage/tyre age about 4 over years all running at 300 kph (44 psi) where manual says Front 31 psi Rear 35 psi... ..... still in use with about 3-4 mm tread depth.Won't change them until 1.6 mm or so tread depth.
I stopped rotating tyres a long long time ago, like some 10-15 years.
Bitog on tyre pressure.
Strongly agree with this. Its better to overinflate(reasonable) than underinflate. A lot of folks always associate tyre burst due to overinflation. That's a common myth spreading around.

The higher pressure also works to your advantage in case where tyre pressure can't be checked weekly. Cheers...
