hihihehe: This is Malaysia man, it's not like other countries where they put famous DJ tracks, and the audience will cherish the sounds. No man, this is not that place laugh.gif Mostly at Malaysia, some clubs will play those lala remixed version of those chinese pop music sleep.gif which i wonder why they still can dance and "feng tau" to it sweat.gif no offends. There's little clubs that plays decent trance, techno, hardstyle, house music.

So... the question is, which clubs plays decent trance, techno, hardstyle, house music? biggrin.gif

btw, cool list there Aoshi!

Is there a music sample (or song) that will introduce me to Trance N Techno. Please help... i dun like it  cry.gif

hmmm, i cant tell u which dj to listen too, there's a bunch of list here you can go check it out, most of the are of high quality smile.gif Yes, electronic dance musics are repetitive. It takes time for 1 to appreciate it, some will fall in love with it right on the spot, some wont. Some even hate them. It's a subjective matter actually, usually when the mood is right, electronic dance musics will give it a little pump, just to increase the adrenaline and well, hype up the mood? THat's how i feel about this kind of music.

And a good trance music is those u rarely listen in the club. Most Malaysian club only will spam those famous trance music like DJ tiesto's Traffic(up to a point where it really suits the meaning repetitive, which is annoying now), or Benny's Satifaction. Other's? LALA music a.k.a pop music remixes shakehead.gif

And seriously, alot of hardstyle dance trax arent lala at all. For instance, Pacific Link's Contatto. Which is superbly composed.

Hardstyle trance/dance music is, in other words, a different kind of style, which it goes right into the mood, rarely there's slow melodic elements in it which builds up the mood.

Yes, my 2cents.

I ask to recommend an intro song / intro sample to Trance N Techno. Please, don't use jargons I can't understand...

Stop being sarcastic. dry.gif

Look, There's plenty of examples here. Apparently you didn't went and look for it. Instead you said "don't use jargons I can't understand". What was that? People tried to help and you didn't help yourself. So, like the other forumer said, if you don't like it, don't push it. This is music, it's not "someone". doh.gif

Jargons my foot.

How can i not speak here? Hi Ann ! Thanks for backing up the trance community.

If you don't like trance naturally, you will never like trance for the rest of your life. Full stop. It comes naturally, it hits your head and it will not leave.

Examples of trance?
Listen to stuffs from Andre Tanneberger, Aly & Fila, Miguel Sassot, Robert Nickson, Solarstone and Above & Beyond. Theirs' are of pure trance and the melodies + synths are just sweet to the ears. Pure paradise and bliss.

Examples of techno?
Now i would like to explain things short; none of what you guys heard before is techno. Why do i say so ? It's because techno is famous in UK and US, not Malaysia. Examples ? Listen to Detroit Techno, where it all started by Kevin Saunderson, the Godfather of Techno. Some of the more famous techno producers are Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Switch, Ricardo Villalobos, James Holden and Nathan Fake.

The stuffs that the clubs in KL usually play are house, progressive, progressive house, electro, breaks, slight DnB and tribal (i skipped RnB, even though it's infamously played everywhere, because it's simply awful music to me, sorry no offense)

finally, someone who can elaborate better about techno smile.gif

yeah, Malaysian's "techno" are really really really... different doh.gif
