The Slovenian DJ and producer has been on the techno scene since 1993, spinning records in his home country and putting on large scale events that helped to break the techno sound to many of his fellow countrymen. With over 100 releases to his name, Umek is also a well established producer, with some of his recent tracks appearing on popular labels such as Cocoon and Audiomatique. He's also no stranger to the mix CD market. Hell Yeah will be Umek's fourth commercially released mix, and will see the DJ fire through 24 tracks on the first disc, including cuts from Kiko, Spektre, and Umek himself; expect high-tempo grooves and plenty of FX work on the mix. Meanwhile the second disc is occupied by twelve previously unreleased Umek tracks from the archives, ranging from classic electro sounds to funky upbeat techno.
