QUOTE(xelrix @ Sep 14 2008, 02:49 PM)
just some question about techno stuff
what is techno actually?
does the musics from eurobeat albums is considered techno?
does songs like the basshunter-dota is a techno?
*
No way they are not techno, if you want techno try stuff like Umek nod.gif
Talking about Umek, his new track Army Of Two with Beltek is just simply amazing, heard it live at MOS thumbup.gif

Yup you're right Matt, those were really hardcore EDM addicts, wonder where they've been now... Why dont like his Joint Operations Centre alias, like Inertia and Cartel these alias produce good stuff too dont you think?

Yea, Andy Duguid!!! wub.gif His eleven track debut album is way better than Armin's Imagine. A blends of trance, house, dance, very impressive high quality stuff. To be frank, nearly all of his tracks are vocal but it does not sounds like those cheesy vocals on Armin's Imagine or other cheesy track! Check out the album out on 20th Oct 08 and heres the tracklist of the Andy's Believe for you guys to drool at! laugh.gif

Inspiration Of Belief
Don't Belong ft. Leah
Falling ft. Julie Thompson
Wasted ft. Leah
Hold My Breath with Mr. Sam ft. Solarstone
The Crossing
To The Floor ft. I-Fan
My Number ft. Donna & Anthony
Touching Ground ft. Esmaye
Run ft. Alanah
White Sands ft. Julie Thompson

Also check out some of his older stuff:
Best production: Hypocrisy
Best remix: Somewhere Inside

QUOTE(matt85 @ Nov 2 2008, 04:51 PM)
Obviously that dj mag poll is one deep shit rigged pile of crap

What the hell Guetta, Sasha, Markus Schulz and Ferry doing in top 10 ?

Some of the names there are even non-existent already, namely Deep Dish, and yet still counted the votes  wacko.gif

Eastern European mafias rigged this bullshit. See the djs at the bottom parts
*
I know how you feel here mate, as i read through the mag about this year poll, i was like "what the f*** is this guy doing here; no way, you cant be this high; who are you dude, are you from mars; i think your management gave incentives for those who voted for you"... doh.gif

The only thing that i dont agree with you is Ferry Corsten ranked 6th in the polls. Im not really a fan of him but he should be in the top 10 as he consider is one of the pioneers in the trance scene plus you can see his new track Radio Crash, it is not electrance anymore from his previous L.E.F., so by this you have to agree with me! biggrin.gif

Gabriel & Dresden and Deep Dish, aren't they parted their own ways or something, why they're still there? hmm.gif But is f***ing sad to see DJs like John O'Callaghan, Simon Patterson, Cosmic Gate, Greg Downey, John Askew, Marcus Schossow, Angello & Ingrosso in the polls, they should be at least in the top 50!

QUOTE(Disciple @ Nov 2 2008, 05:01 PM)
Sunlounger - White Sand
choon cool.gif

Good recommendation there Disciple! Most of Roger Shah stuff does include lush melodic guitar sounds, do check out his latest Sunlounger album, Sunny Tales. I posted some infos about this in the last few pages, it has lots of beautiful guitar tracks, very harmonies tunes. Also not to mention but i did gave my vote for him in this year Top 100 polls and now he ranked 58th in the polls, congratulations to Mr. Shah! rclxms.gif

And below are some i recommend to you s373n! thumbup.gif
Junkie XL - Mushroom
Nic Chagall - What You Need
DJ Shah - Who Will Fine Me

Different people from different background have different musical taste, Joyboy. My recommendation for you go try some minimal techno and tech house, you gonna like it.

Prodigy - Smack My b**** Up (Richard Durand Remix) is the best i think, never heard of Darren Tate mix but i assumed sure is those melodic trance right?

And guys, the latest from Tijs Verwest, Alone In The Dark - Edward Carnby, an uplifting oldschool trance track. Think Tiesto - A Tear In The Open, so far the best of the best, its blasting my speaker at the moment!

ohh..my bad...i meant Richard Durand mix...my eyes were half closed this morning lol...still blur

Yea of course your eyes were half closed, based on your sexy avatar biggrin.gif

The John O'Callaghan mix of No More Alone for me!

Heres some old and new EDM stuff, f***ing chooon! Dope stuff! wub.gif

Anhken Pres. Mansse - Unexpected (Chooonage, it just unexpected)

Joey V - Chopperchunk (Mark Sherry's Outburst Mix) (Original is the one but go search for it at beatport, stupid youtube)

Tiesto Pres. Alone In The Dark - Edward Carnby (Vocal Mix) (Uplifting oldschool trance, the roots of Tiesto sound)

Oliver Huntemann & Dubfire - Dios (The follow up of the amazing Diablo, great minimal tune)

Umek & Beltek - Army Of Two (Superb dance floor killer track, rocking my ringtone at the moment)

You serious? When did i added you, your name? Theres not much people on my msn list that really chat about EDM, which sucks sweat.gif

The latest from Simon Patterson's Different Feeling!!! Absolutely fantastic extremely good, is not the typical Patterson sound you found in Smack or Bulldozer, it really has a "different feel" in this tune, highly recommended for true hardcore trance lovers. thumbup.gif
