hahah ..totally epic ..i was there till the end ...and i was never expected that Perfect Love track come up ...reminds me of the early days of my passion on ALy dn Fila's work ..since then , they are in my A-list DJ ..

3 hours with goosebump 138-140 bpm ...arghhh....each time he sync'ed track with another uplifting beat ...i said to myself, this Fady guy totally genius ...
*
Yeah, at first, the first 5 tracks weren't very great from me, after On Fire...then shit just got real. I just like how it starts the tune softly and it progressed to uplifting stage. I was like farkkk yeahhhhhhhhhhh, u just couldn't say no to this beat. I can understand the crowd wasnt there due to World Cup but to those who is willing to skip Aly and Fila set, well you guys gonna regret.

His sets end at what time? 5 i assume? I left at 4.00 ish, i'm there since 11.30 p.m. and damn man, its real as it feels!

some people love progressive , and some do love hard style ..and uplifting is like in between ..

that is why i'm ok with Psy-trance , hard trance , tech trance and uplifting trance especially on Aly & Fila's work.

and slowly i moved away from progressive set like AvB , Andrew Rayel , Markus Schulz.

for PvD , he is exceptional . Aly and Fila learned from PvD ..and now they are legends .

i was there since 10pm , queued at 1030pm , entered around 11pm .. ..he started this set around 1.15am ,and ended around 4.15am ..

Fuhhhh epic mayn. U sure regretz yo! Epic material!
I left when he played Perfect Love, because of my bud who was way too tired due to jumping too frequent. He wasnt into trance but when i brought him last night he was like oh yeahhhhhh this is my shitttt!

But the one hit me straight to my heart will be 'The Way back home (Matt Bowdige remix) - Ferry Tayle, i didnt expect he played this especially this is the last music i play on my iphone. I was like waittttt whattttt?! Although i wish he could play Amarotia - Ferrin and Morris.

Really hope to watch Aly and Fila and John o Callaghan

some definition which is suits the current trend of dance music

Extremely short descriptions of each of these:

House: The last remnants of disco. Simple 4/4 beats and groovy lines. The stem cell of electronic music.

Progressive House: House music that is totally cool with gay marriage.

Deep House: Echo-y and repetitive. The opposite of progressive house. One of my least favorite sub-genres.

Techno: Like house music but more industrial-sounding. Weaker drums and very less sound variation.

Electro: Hits you heavy and hard. Hits you on the high end with screeching lines that are like 5 octaves above mid-C, and thumping low end bass. Usually 4/4.

Trance: Often faster than house. Trippy & more intense.

Progressive Trance: Trance music that bleeds into a wide range other genres. Tends to be more melodic & interesting.

Uplifting Trance: Exactly what it sounds like.

Psy Trance: Incredibly fast, intense, and druggy. What a mushroom trip sounds like.

Drum n Bass: The Amen break with tons of variation in every element layered on top.

Dubstep: Like a robot f***ing a fax machine.

Yup! The surprising part is Perfect Love the one he collaborated with Roger Shah. I was like WUTTTTT. I was really expecting them to play their We Control Sunlight, but to no avail.

Very stim for me to distinguish Trance and Progressive Trance for me compare to Uplifting Trance and PsyTrance, even after listening to trance for nearly 5 years. I only can separate them through artists. All em trance Djs believe trance is all about the melody and harmony, which leaves us the question, what's progressive trance then? Progressive trance for me is like Myon Shane, Juventa, Estiva, Andrew Bayer and many more.

Arghhh....very confuse @.@

Prog trance as its name suggests, has a longer progression scale and subtler breakdowns. Also, the peaks and valleys are less "hard" and defined (the drop isn't as crazy). 130-something bpm if I'm not mistaken. dope prog trance guys include Old school BT, armin, ATB, Orkidea, Sasha, John Digweed, matt lange, dinka etc. smile.gif

Orkidea, its been awhile since i heard from him, i know he is good pal with Solarstone.

Wow, i didnt know Dinka is lean towards progressive. I thought its chill type of trance, all these while.
