I have been listening to electronic music ever since the late 80s/early 90s (rave, house, techno and stuff like that) I taught Dubstep and EDM is very much alive like how Trance is................

Dubstep is Dub music mixed with Techstep is it???????????

I would describe it as a mix of breaks and DNB, with inconsistent bpm and some irrelevant vocals in between laugh.gif

f*** yeah.

Fast Foot and Greysound are great too.

I don't know but these electro house sounds like it is highly blended with dubstep wobble sounds or is it originally came from house music?

But I really like the yah, wah, wub wobble bass lining sounds. It always tickling my ear lol.

Feels the same to me, man. Though, i get bored of dubstep easily.

I wouldn't call them strictly electro house; like you said, a mix of dubstep, especially on Darth & Vader's stuffs. I guess it's a fad now to thrash all genres into a set. Even the infamous Tiesto spins dubstep nowadays.

Speaking of Fast Foot, they are more inclined to electro house. Good dubstep should start with Magnetic Man, Subfocus and Herve icon_rolleyes.gif

yep, Foreign Beggars. Heard a few songs from them and it's not that I like it so much.

I also heard dubs in Britney songs too lol.

How about Skrillex, is he dubstep/electro? Cuz he sounds like progressive electro to me. hmm.gif Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't even know how progressive sound like loll and I am a fan of From First to Last too back then lol.

I just listened to this song yesterday and it was sick!

That Reptile track is break-ish electro, typical American. The same you would find from those Dim Mak guys (Steve Aoki, Bloody Beetroots, ATR etc.). The classier act would be Dada Life; highly recommended.

I'm not in any position to say this, but my sincere recommendation of true and pure dubstep would be of UK and Europe scene; start of the names i've put up in my previous post.

As usual, there are some differences in musical taste between the continents. Hey, they even called the football game as soccer.

@ketupatjahat: thanks for sharing the list of songs, I needed some new music. smile.gif

Anyone knows of any tracks that sounds a similar to Andy Blueman's stuff? I'm so sad that he had quitted the trance scene.
