I'm facing difficulty to setup the HG8240H that I bought from mudah.my to be used as a TM Fiber UniFi modem.

The LOS light keeps on even after plug the Fiber Optic cable to it. I've logged in using 192.168.100.10 (telecomadmin - user name ; admintelecom - password) but unsure what settings to change if it's possible.

is it this problem because the ONT settings are not correct? Please advise.

Of cos cannot la.. U need call TM ppl bind new mac address on ur pole network. Ur current pole network is bind to ur old modem mac address.

U get new mac address from ur new huawei modem, den call TM and give them the new mac address to them they can remote set and ur LOS will be up immediately.

Anything under Telco cannot simply change. Only on consumer side can change like router and etc.
