1. The Golden Royale – Gold Bar Challenge (“the Contest”) is organised by Berjaya Times Square Management Corporation (hereby known as “the Organiser”).

2. The Organiser reserves the right to vary, amend, delete and/or modify the terms and conditions as stipulated herein without prior notice.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

ELIGIBILITY

3. The Contest period is from 6 July 2019 to 31 August 2019 or such extended date as determined at the sole and absolute discretion of the Organiser (“Contest Period”).

4. The Contest is open to all shoppers of Berjaya Times Square Mall, Kuala Lumpur aged 18 and above (“Eligible Participant”).

5. Employees of the Organiser, Berjaya Times Square Management Corporation, its partners, sponsors, event agencies and their immediate family member are not eligible to participate
in this Contest.

CONTEST REQUIREMENTS

To participate in this contest:-

6. Shoppers must present the Original receipt(s) with a minimum amount spent of RM300 in Berjaya Times Square Mall on the same day (in any Three (3) combined receipts) at the Information Counter, Ground Floor, Berjaya Times Square for One (1) chance to participate in the Contest (“Eligibility”).

7. A game entry ticket will be issued to all Eligible Participants and must be presented prior to participating in the Game (“the Ticket”). The ticket is valid for one time use only within the Contest Period.

8. All tickets issued are non-transferable to any person.

9. The Organiser is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged and/or destroyed tickets. There is strictly no replacement of the ticket(s) issued.

10. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel the ticket which it reasonably suspects as being offered for any unauthorised use and/or disqualify and/or reject any entry that does not meet the Contest Requirements.

11. Shoppers may be requested to produce the purchased item(s) as proof of purchase.

12. Bill payment and purchases from service outlets including Touch ‘n Go, money changer facilities, pop up stores, kiosks, banking or ATM transactions, reload and top up bill(s) and any roadshow at the promotion area are not eligible to participate in this Contest.

13. Eligible Participants are allowed one entry only and each Eligible Participant is entitled to win one prize only throughout the Contest Period.

HOW TO PLAY

14. Eligible Participants are required to lift an approximately 7kg gold bar out of an acrylic box with a small hole within 60 seconds (“the Game”).

15. There will be two game sessions per day. The first session starts from 12.00pm - 4.00pm and the second session starts from 5.00pm - 9.00pm.

16. A maximum of 360 game entry tickets will be issued each day and redemption is on a first-come-first-served basis, while tickets last throughout the Contest Period.

PRIZES

17. There will be a prize total of RM57,000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia Fifty Seven Thousand Only) worth of shopping spree up for grabs throughout the Contest period.

18. The prize will start at RM1,000.00 on the first day and if there is no winner for that day, the price will snowball by RM1,000.00 each day for the following days without winner.

19. Once a winner is announced for the day, the game will end. The prize will start again at RM1,000.00 for the following day.

20. The winner is required to redeem their winnings within Three (3) months from the date of announcement. However winners who are non-Malaysian residents must redeem their winnings within One (1) week from the date of announcement. Any delay in claiming, the prize shall be forfeited without any notice or liability to the Organiser.

21. The prize money is to be spent at the stores in Berjaya Times Square Mall, Kuala Lumpur only (excluding money changer facilities) and is non-transferable to any person.

22. The winner shall notify the Organiser of the list of item(s) and/or service(s) He/She wishes to purchase by submitting their wish list Three (3) days from the agreed meet up date for purchase.

23. The winner shall be accompanied by the Organiser on an agreed date and time (Monday to Friday from 10:00am – 12:30pm or 2:30pm - 5:30pm; public holidays and weekends not included) to purchase the item(s) on the submitted wish list at Berjaya Times Square Mall, Kuala Lumpur.

24. If the winner purchases a product/service that costs more than the prize money won, He/She shall pay the remaining balance payable.

25. There is strictly NO cash refund for the balance prize money unused.

26. The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to substitute any items with alternative items of similar value, at any time without prior notice.

27. All winners shall be personally liable for all costs and expenses that may be incurred pursuant to the collection, usage or utilization of the prize, including but not limited to insurance, taxes, fees or any other related costs and expenses.

28. The Organiser will not be responsible or liable for any loss in connection with the Contest, including but not limited to the following:
a. Any problem, loss, or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by any party due to any delay and/or failure in receiving and/or sending the entry as a result of any network, communication or system error, interruption and/or failure of internet line. This includes error in notification of the Contest’s winners, omission, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, internet line failure, theft, destruction or unauthorised access to entries, PC hang whether arising due to server function, virus, bug or other causes beyond its control.
b. Any problem, expenses, damage, loss, suits and claims of whatsoever notice against any Eligible Participates that may arise due to their participation in this Contest and/or display of Eligible Participants’ entries.

29. Eligible Participants are required to complete the Indemnity Form and Personal Data Protection consent form upon Redemption of the items. He/She acknowledges that in respect of any Personal Information disclosed by him/her to the Organiser: a) he/she is authorized to disclose such Personal Information; b) such disclosure complies with Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and any Privacy Legislation from any country, within the geographical scope of the Redemption; c) he/she has consented to the use of such Personal Information by the Organiser (including, without limitation, the disclosure of such Personal Information to the Organiser’s external agencies or third parties); he/she have read, understand and agreed to this Terms and Conditions and consent to the processing of Personal Data as described in the Organiser’s Privacy Policy.

30. Winners are required to complete the Personal Data Protection Act consent form with mandatory personal details.

OTHERS

31. By participating in this Contest, all Eligible Participations warrant that all statements, personal details are true, correct, accurate and complete and that they have read and understood all the Terms and Condition of this Contest and agree to be unconditionally bound by it.

32. By entering into this Contest, all Eligible Participants shall agree to appear in internet, videos, photographs, write ups which may be used in advertising (any form of media) or other materials of the Organiser. Eligible Participants shall not be entitled to any payment for such use, or for any re-use, and acknowledge that all copyright, including the right to reproduce likeness or image shall belong to the Organiser absolutely; and to release and discharge the Organiser from any claim in relation to the Organiser’s use of likeness or image.

33. All decision(s) made by the Organiser pertaining to this Contest and/or cancellation thereof shall be at its sole and absolute discretion and shall be final and conclusive. Appeal(s) will not be entertained.
