They hv nothing great to offer but busy promoting and targeting hotels and businesses. Even a basic package of local channels is lacking,mytv us much better! I recall abnexcess which just talked all the way! Satellite transmission is veey costly!

Because targeting those commercial customers like hotels and businesses are easier compared to direct-to-consumers mah....
Plus, they can earn some "quick money" from it too.

Once they have more cash in hand, then they could start to think about acquiring more channels to all

Selling to hotel is a better idea.

Why is there a some sort of "external USB channel number display" device (4 digits 7 segment)? Sirius TV seriously include that thing from the box, or you connect it on by yourself?

You have Astro box, right? Try connect that device to the USB port at the Astro box and see anything comes out or not 🤭🤭

That's the external status display. If decoder is on, there will be a green LED light at the left, and you tune to CNA (channel 2), then the number 00 02 will be shown on it. If decoder is off (but power plug still on), there will a red LED at the left, and current time will be shown.

In this regard, this is better than the OSD-less Astro Ultra box.

Try connect that device to one of the Astro Ultra Box's USB port. I'm curious to see what will appear lol

You should say "Try use the astro coaxial cable connect to that device".. See what the screen will appear..

You can scan fta/unscrambled channel on measat. Like astro radio channels

u mean we can manually enter TP frequency? i thought this kind of setting is normally locked.

You want to customise own software that can only receive specific TP frequencies?
Can. Just spend more money to the software developer guys, and they'll tailor-made the STB firmware for you, which I don't think Sirius TV wouldn't want to spend this kind of money lah...

If I'm Sirius TV now, I'd rather use the money to acquire more TV channels instead (without sacrificing video/audio picture quality, of course).

Just a reminder that GEM on unifiTV has BM subs, while the Sirius one isn't on yet.

So i presume they are not using the same broadcast? Come to think of it, Unifi TV's version are spliced with the TV rating before each show, so likely Sirius is using Singapore's feed?
