nope. Japanese Wii can only play certain NTSC/U titles and same goes with US Wii as it can only play certain NTSC/J titles (meaning not 100% games can be played). Plus the updates does not work well with each other too (NTSC/U update semi bricked NTSC/J console)jap wii cant play all english titles?
