Just got my US Wii last Saturday. I must say it is fun & additive. Myself consider a hardcore & lone ranger gamer (PS2 & XBOX306). Wii has it's way & magic to pull family members & play together which makes me impressed with the work of Nintendo. This definitely a family oriented console!

2 cents advise over US & JAP version (espeacially for non JAP game gamers) Save up a little more to get US version since majority of games you play is in english. You might get more & more english game titiles which won't work in future if you get a JAP Wii. In addition, you'll get 100% statisfaction out of the US console (readable & understandable of Wii full contents)

Favourite: Wii Sport (Family gathering) Legend of Zelda, Resident Evil 4 (Single player action adventure)
