Mooncake season is here again. There are so many choices in KL, no budget to try every brand. So to help me decide which one to try, do share what is the most delicious mooncake you have had? From which company? For me, the most unforgettable mooncake I've had is the exquisite Champagne Truffle white lotus snowskin mooncake from Raffles Hotel Singapore.

Pure lotus paste only, no other things, not even egg yolk

Fuck lotus paste. Last time it was my favorite but one time i ate one too many pieces. Now i gag thinking about lotus paste.

Best mooncake i had was the coconut filling one, dunno which brand but super nice

No particular brand, but my mom usually bought baker's cottage and casa hana. Both are ok because they aren't so sweet. However casa hana's "Luminarie" flavor is nice. It has the classic lotus paste but melted salted egg yolk custard in the middle. When you cut it into pieces, the egg yolk oozes out like lava cake. Maybe other brands also have the similar texture but not sure. Mei Xin is definitely a luxurious brand.

The durian flavour fr Tai Thong is not bad, its pasty and abit sticky, a little different, but I like it.

Tried Tai chong, it's too sweet. I bought dragon-i and oversea brand. My favourites are nuts and bacon.

This is not mooncake but more like cupcake. It's like recommending ice cream when someone wants mooncake.
