Tchibo freeze dried instant coffee from german best paired with milk. Rm15 per jar of 100g, available at jaya grocer.
The best coffee is actually made without hot water. Just add normal water to dilute the coffee granules then add milk. If you want it all black then add hot but not boiling water.
Water, milk and sugar ratio also play important role as well. Brown sugar tastes best.

That ruins the texture of my coffee. Din't try to use brown sugar yet..seems ok. What about cinammon powder ? I think starbucks do provide ?

Then put in fridge because best serve chilled. Unless you like it hot. If i make americano or kopi o then i use lightly heated water. So far brown sugar does make a mild difference on taste.

QUOTE(csbong87 @ Aug 29 2019, 11:04 PM) I like the idea of putting the milk coffee into the fridge. Seems legit. ☺ Yes we all have always been fed with the idea of making instant coffee must use hot water, actually the point is to dilute the coffee granules. Come to think of it, the coffee has been heated once during the extraction process. So second heating may not be that necessary unless you are making hot coffee. Until i found this little trick online making black/milk coffee without using hot water, it has a more aromatic taste. Not sure if this trick applies to all brand of instant coffee but so far any freeze dried coffee works well. This one suggests dilute coffee granules with cold/normal water first followed by hot water, but i skip the hot water part. https://www.google.com/amp/s/soranews24.com...mple-trick/amp/Here's another trick making beaten coffee, something resembles cappuccino. Not a big fan but you may try it out. https://www.instructables.com/id/beaten-coffee/This post has been edited by babybobby: Aug 31 2019, 05:30 PM
