Tires are the contact point between your car and the ground. Get good tires, it can make a whole lot difference in an emergency brake situation under wet conditions. It is worth the investment.

The tyres are the only contact point between your car and the road. If you watch online tyre tests and reviews, the expensive ones are definitely better so there is a difference. The difference is mostly on grip levels, handling and braking performance. But nowadays, there are decent budget options around. Go search for reviews online. Just try not to save too much on tyres.

As mentioned above, tires is a very important aspect of your car so don't be a cheapskate on it!

As for the price, for your size actually won't reach 800-1k (unless it's RFT tires). Around 300-500 you'd already get pretty good tires. For example around 500+ you can already get Michelin PS4 for your size, and around 300 can get you value for money Hankook V12 Evo 2, both are good choices already.

Depends on which Hankook model. I suggest minimum buy the V12 Evo 2.
