Guys, how do u normally handle post-relationship or post- breakup grief?

If u love someone so deep and sacrifice so much for her, but in the end she chose to break up with u, how u handle the situation? So much unwillingness and reluctance. I once broke up with a 3 year-relationship gf. After first, I felt ok and cool about it. But after some time, the pain started to kick in. I cannot get use not texting her, not spending time with her, doing everything on my own without her. All promises seem empty now. I cried and can't eat. I can't sleep, even sleep also dream about her. Soon, I began to start to binge watching TV , playing games and take up some hobbies. Only then started to get back to normal and it works with time.

How about u
