My acer vg270p arrived just now.
No dead or stuck pixels.
144Hz works.
I don't know what panel they use, but it doesn't have any terrible artifacts known on previous acer ips monitors.
Like graining because the subpixel is too far apart.
Image quality is comparable to my benq ew277hdr.
Most importantly, it doesn't tear my eyes out. Like my sold samsung sf350.

Overdrive mode is set to normal. Extreme mode need freesync to be off.
Response times is typical ips. But i think it's better than viewsonic's va 144hz panel i tested in stores. If i remember right. Of course this is me eyeballing it.

Will do further testing and report back.
There is nothing fundamentally wrong with it, if you want to buy it you can.
Or maybe wait until i test it for frame skipping.
And flicker.

Looking for 144hz monitor recommendation with budget RM1K

Size: if 23-25 inch then 1080p, if 27inch then 1440p
Panel Type: Only VA/IPS (Prefer IPS but i know usually it will be >1k ? if have around 1.2k/1.3k let me know, hopefully i have time to wait until promo brows.gif  icon_idea.gif not in a rush)
Native resolution: 1920 x 1080 (FHD)
Colour support: 16.7 million (8-bits per subpixel) or higher
Response time: must GtG <= 5ms
Free sync support
Color Saturation : must be >80%(NTSC) ; sRGB >=98%

Mainly used for my daily entertainment( etc movie/youtube)will be using for casual online MOBA gaming,  FPS/Third Person
Image processing for my work (colour saturation can be quite important to me)
Light video/image editing
So far a few been on my radar after some research, let me know if you have other recommended monitor with better spec/deal.
Could not seem to find asus brand monitor that suit my need. Correct me if im wrong.

1) Samsung C24FG73
2) AOC C24G1
3) MSI Optix MAG241C
4) 23.6" ViewSonic VX2458-C-mhd
5) Acer Predator ED242QR

These five monitors uses the exact same Samsung panel (i.e. the Samsung LSM236HP02, which is a panel that dates all the way back in 2016) icon_idea.gif

Although in the case of the AOC, it uses a Samsung panel, but with an AOC (which is branded as TP Vision) backlight:

Personally I'd go with the AOC C24G1, as it is one of the few monitors listed here that is properly reviewed icon_idea.gif
