Thanks for guiding me ....for 43", it seem super big to me , and i can't see any display set even youtube review...so can't see the text display quality ...if buy wrongly, don't know how to sell it out ...

currently i'm using 27" at home, so far so good, i think 32 " should just good to use in office.

get lower

for a better explanation
mahal although good if you have the money  brows.gif  but still 27 inch @ 1080p is a no no for me
the text wouldn't be that sharp.

You can check the ppi of your existing monitor https://www.sven.de/dpi/ and do some comparison. Do you feel that text is not that sharp at 1080p for 27 inch? if you do then 1080p for 32inch would be even worse. But for 2k its just nice (104ppi iinm)
same, if you're going to buy the viewsonic 2k may as well as consider acer 4k monitor, because 43 inch quite nice yo (but your table need to be quite deep or else cannot oso). If you don't mind second hand, you can find the viewsonic 2k model for <750 at carousell at times
going to buy a year 2014 dell monitor instead so I can have dual 23 inch.
Too much of upgrades needed to make 4k work for my case since I'm still using ivy bridge

For ivy bridge, it can support 4k@30hz if your motherboard have 1 displayport port, if have two can support up until 4k@60hz

That's why need to use PPI Calculator laugh.gif

You can input the below:

UHD (4k)
Horizontal: 3840 pixels
Vertical: 2160 pixels

2k
Horizontal: 2560 pixels
Vertical: 1440 pixels

Diagonal = screen size in inches

For the viewsonic, 2k resolution at 32 inch, the ppi is 91, but for 4k 43 inch, the ppi is 102 so text would be sharper at 4k 43 inch

It only seem that way because you've never actually used one yourself
Once you've started using it for only 3 days, you will see other screen as being too small

Trust me laugh.gif

But remember to only get 2K (2560x1440) screen if you're going for 32 inch as 1080p will look ugly on 32 inch screens

I'm sitting very close to the monitor. So 32inch even possible?

If my old notebook could support until 2k resolution only, getting 4k monitor will be a waste right ? since it never able to use 4k resolution

Bro, how's the finding ?

I'm planning to get two 24" monitor or 24" &27" combination mount instead, may be it is more helpful for coding and documenting ...but still not sure which brand to go for ...very headache ...normally good monitor(high brightness) not cheap and 43" is too big i guess ...not chance to see it yet

please share me if you have better idea or find yours smile.gif

I got a 23 inch dell P series instead because it was cheap and my other monitor is 23 inch as well.

I got this when it was still 230 (and with discount it reached 210+). Not exactly perfect though, got scratches over the body and got some dead pixel on the screen (not really noticeable for me). Customer service is really so so (I ask seller got dead pixel or not, seller said no but end up got and he just tried to brush the issue off). In overall still a very good monitor because can rotate so I kept it.

For coding, having vesa mount would be nice and buy monitor arms for it. But if your chair and table is well positioned, you can opt for Dell P/U series and no need to get the monitor arm (both has its own pros and cons). I think 2 monitors would be better than 1 x 32 inch for your case

personally, since you're a programmer, I think you will appreciate having a 23/24 inch vertical (equivalent to the height of a 43 inch in horizontal), and 27/32 inch horizontal. If you don't need to show people stuff, flexible monitor arms aren't really used much, better go for a monitor wall mount instead and that would give a better view that doesn't break your neck if your table is width is too short.
