for positional audio and great sound. the bass sounds great, don't need official support. maybe need high end headphone.

I use Dirac audio mod by Fujitsu; it sounds better than this for my ears.

positional audio?

Yes I think, I can feel the surround feeling when using headphones. Not sure whether it is a placebo effect or not.

I tried using Dolby Atmos app before, cannot hear the surround effect on my ears. Feels less power.

That is not positional audio, that is spatial audio like surround. Without spatial audio when u use headphone, the sound sounds like from center of your head instead of around you.

positional audio is top, down, left, right, behind, etc sound sources.

if i buy cheapo pasar malam headphone,once install this software, can get atmos quality sound?

atmos is all over now.. my note 9 also atmos.. now windows also got atmos.. i checked atmos compatible headphone.. running on 3.5mm input and single 50mm driver by platronics also atmos compatible..

need better headphones

Too many misunderstanding and misconception.
Fyi, this dolby bring greater and much differentation than any of your audio mod..or even your USB dac output unit.
