while looking a phone for my mum, i notice something.....the current budget system spec is not much different with last year model....the different is the camera spec.....better go for phone with better camera rating especially in low light segment...

Can go for S7E. Solid built quality for a 3 year old flagship. Best if you manage to source for the 128gb version around your mentioned budget.

Go with the flagship:

1: Build Quality
2: Flagships have better camera compare to budget

Xiaomi Mi A2. AndroidOne. So basically no bloatware. OS update for 2 years. Decent camera.

Just make sure your phone has a healthy battery. Everything else should still be ok.

Yes, good enough until you feel that the battery depletion get faster, than it's time for a new one.
