HJ is burger king
similar to GM being called holden

you give it a local name ppl will want to sapork local business but in the case of HJ there's rumors that BK was already registered and they named it locally because could secure the name BK in certain state

make sense

some big brands struggle to survive australian market

like starbucks
*
starbucks fail to survive because their coffee culture is on point, and people rather pay local cafe $10-15 prices compared to going to starbucks for substandard coffee. take for example blackboard coffee its 11/10 really.

they failed big time to adapt, or should say there is so much of choices around. Btw café business in Aus is cutthroat business,
Even the coffee machine in 7-11 are offering for just AUD1 per cuppa, creamers and sugars aplenty.. lol
*
but the beans used in starbucks vs 7-11 vs a cafe are totally different.
