should mid speaker plug to crossover? (no amp)

Just want to ask, I bought a set of component speaker but whent they install it, the mid speaker are without hooked up with the crossover, it direct power it from it. is this a correct way? some said the mid speaker will get more power of it better sound. would like seek some opinion on here

I'm sure 2 high output (high pass) connect to your tweeter & 2 band pass (consist of low & high pass) output connect to your midbass.. to clear you doubt kindly google "Active vs Passive" ICE setup..
