Just want to ask, I bought a set of component speaker but whent they install it, the mid speaker are without hooked up with the crossover, it direct power it from it.
is this a correct way? some said the mid speaker will get more power of it better sound. would like seek some opinion on here

Than is correct lorrr so your ICE is in Active Setup.. inside DSP got crossover (low/band/high pass) + eq + time aligment + amp so doesn't need passive crossover c/w component speaker.. this type we call it as "Active Crossover" & crossover c/w component speaker known as "Passive Crossover" where it doesn't need power/current to work.. I'm sure 2 high output (high pass) connect to your tweeter & 2 band pass (consist of low & high pass) output connect to your midbass.. to clear you doubt kindly google "Active vs Passive" ICE setup..

try to connect your mids to the passive crossover too, if sound not the way u like, then only try active.

Make sure u understand active setup only play with it, if not u will damage your speakers or amp or hu

is from my local store introduce one, cost around RM 300+
