nusantara. selatan thai, tanah melayu, indonesia, borneo, singapura use bahasa melayu. The problem is with indon they use bahasa indonesia since independence and make other countries who use normal bahasa melayu difficult to understand them.
i do think indon make a wrong move here. If they still using bahasa melayu like other nusantara countries, it will be good for this region.
You see la indon, when they sing they use bahasa melayu, when they talk they use bahasa indonesia.

Officially, their nasional language is Malay.
So, they should be teaching Jawi in schools.

According to Constitution of Singapore, the single national language of Singapore is Malay, which plays a symbolic role, as Malays are constitutionally recognized as the indigenous peoples of Singapore, and it is the government's duty to protect their language and heritage. β€œThe national language shall be the Malay language and shall be in the Roman script […]” (Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, PART XIII) Also according to the constitution, the four commonly used languages of Singapore are English, Chinese

So basically their national language is Malay but their main language is English or some say Singlish. That is why they still use Malay in ceremonial stuff, their national song and marching drill.

But the main thing i wanna know why malls in Singapore is not like Malaysia. Singaporean can control their bladder n rectum more efficient, cant't they? πŸ˜… Their toilet has limited cubicles like only 4 in every washroom For guys still ok coz we have that urinary bowl thingy but i pity the girls.
