i wonder if existing phev charger can be used for taycan
is it ac or dc or both
Yes, Taycan can use existing Type-2 chargers, such as the ones at Sunway Pyramid, Genting Premium Outlets, ChargEV ones. As a matter of fact, the Taycan has Type-2 charging ports on both sides of the car!
I've been informed that the Taycan has received 40 booking to date. Which is a good show of support for the EV product.
On another note too bad that the mini brand only brought in 25 mini electric car which has all taken up. Need to wait for the second batch afterwords I suppose.
Anyways positive support for EV in this second wave of EV in Malaysia.

So a member from the Malaysian Electric Vehicle Owners Club (MyEVOC) got to ride the Taycan for a couple of days. Yesterday he went from KL to Ayer Keroh. Today he is traveling from KL to Penang.
Will update more news from his experience driving the Taycan later on.

So he managed to arrive in Penang just now on one charge with 48km left! Well done. One thing for sure its hard to drive under the speed limit in an electric sports car.......
